Ronnie wasn’t sure what Finn was. She wasn’t sure where what was happening would go, or if it would really go anywhere at all. If this was a one night hook up, she would most surly be upset, but she could live. She knew that she loved this hair, his company, and the way he kissed her, but did that mean she wanted to like be with him. No. Ronnie just liked this moments. Being there, with him, all warm on him lap. She liked the way his hands felt, and how he was resting on her head. Ronnie just really liked him, right now.
When he said he would try Ronnie felt her heart sink a little. She could feel an already bad situation getting worse. And the worst part was she wanted it too. Ronnie wanted this boy to have uncontrollable feelings for her, and she wanted him to want to her so badly. And she wanted to let him have her too. Finn was making her want things that were very unusual. To respond to that anxious feeling that was growing inside her she just kissed him again. Pressed her lips against his. Tasting that growing familiar taste of alcohol and a citrusy flavor. Ronnie held herself against him for a second before pulling away and nuzzling his chest purring lightly.
Ronnie was getting comfy, and getting butterflies. She was screaming at herself to stop and before she was about to roll off of him he made the perfect move. Emotion left his face like washing a chalkboard. She smiled and shook her head. “I think you try to be tougher than you honestly are.” Ronnie was honestly, uncontrollably honest. To everyone.

- - - - - - - - - - - -Finn was like Mufasa trying desperately to cling to a cliff with a stampede of wildebeests below and only destructive claws to pull him back up to safety. The only thing was that the destructive claws were his own and the wildebeest stampede was one he had created. Every problem Finn ever encountered was his own doing. Every time he got himself into a bad situation it was always his fault. This was the same now, with Ronnie. He had thrown himself into a relationship with her- and not even an intimate one- expecting that he would find solace. Instead he found himself developing feelings for the strange girl. Bad Finn.
“I think you try to be tougher than you honestly are." she said, snapping him out of deep though.
No, he didn't. Or at least, he didn't think he did. Finn was just the opposite, digging himself into this mushy hole. He looked down at Ronnie with a pained expression, not wanting to push her away but at the same time wondering what he'd gotten himself into. Taking another sip of the whiskey he'd all but ignored for a few minutes, he shook his head.
"Nahh, that's me y'see. I'm just ass backwards all the time. I don't know what I want. The one thing I do know is my doucheyness," he explained, wondering if he was making sense whatsoever. He added with a chuckle: "It's never let me down, y'know."
That haul of whiskey, as alcohol always did, calmed his nerves and stopped his brain from working too hard. Back into the slow, steady and honesty slipped Finn, and all was well once again. He moved from the jumpy level of drunkenness into the placated and lazy drunk, amusing himself by entwining his fingers in Ronnie's hair.
"I rarely overthink things, you just caught me at a bad time," Finn stated with a careless expression. "Don't worry, your highness. It won't happen again."
And then Finn was back, with a wink and a smirk.

Ronnie was actually very surprised that she didn’t get him right. She was normally really really good at judging people. She could always tell what they were like. She thought she knew what Finn was like. Even when he started acting all sweet, and cuddly, she still felt like she had a pretty good grip on him. He was showing her that she was wrong. Which made this worse the both of them. Ronnie loved a challenge. She leaned into his chest more and kisses him a few times like that was going to help her understand him. It wasn’t, but Ronnie was finding kissing him more and more addictive.
His little speech made her giggle and little and she smiled at him. “Your doucheyness has let you down” she said. “You are being strangely sweet right now.” Ronnie was being honest, he was being oddly nice to her. She slide off his lap and laid down on her back, staring up at the ceiling. “We all find that one thing we can’t hate. That we have to be nice too” Her eyes went all blank and spacey when she got like this. “But there is always that one thing we can’t help but destroy, and they are always the same thing for me” She knew she sounded insane, but there was some point to the insane this time.
Ronnie watched him drink from the whiskey, and felt better the he was gonna be more drunk. With any luck he would get so wasted tomorrow he wouldn’t remember this. Ronnie would tell him that they fucked and she could go back to not being like this. She smiled at his comment. “Perfect match.” Ronnie over thought everything. To the point where nothing even really made sense to her. She smirked at him before reaching up and grabbing his hand. “Come here?” she said quietly, gently pulling him closer to her.

- - - - - - - - - - - -After narrowly avoiding a massive plane crash that could have been his reputation and the general structure of his personality, Finn practically sighed out loud. Ah, much better. Every once in awhile he had slip ups, but the last one had been with Roxie ages ago. He was allowed to stumble now, it had been a decent amount of time since the last breach.
"Just don't let it happen again," he thought, shaking it off.
““We all find that one thing we can’t hate. That we have to be nice to," she explained, her eyes glazing over like they did when she was saying something profound- which oddly enough were usually also the things she thought were crazy. "“But there is always that one thing we can’t help but destroy, and they are always the same thing for me”
Finn pondered for a moment, turning the statement over in his head. It was clear that the one thing he felt like being nice to lately was Ronnie, but what he had always destroyed hadn't changed for years and years.
"I can't say the same for me. Y'see, the one thing Finn likes to destroy is Finn. I'm very self destructive,"
He didn't say in a depressed way, or a sentimental way, or even in a caring way. Finn explained this very matter-of-factly, and even took a sip of whiskey as he did so. He was okay with his self destructive habits. They'd gotten him this far, so why should he change now?
When Ronnie reached for him, that usual crooked smile crawled across Finn's face and he nearly tipped over trying to move closer to her. He clumsily plopped down on the ground next to her and shook his hair absently- one of his oldest habits. It wasn't like the gesture was going to make his hair any less unruly, it was just something he'd always done. Besides, Ronnie liked his fluffy hair anyway. Resting his head on his hand, which was propped up on his knee he grinned.
"What can I helpya with?"
