how did you get here: 
"How did I get here? Good question! I was born in Savannah, Georgia, being the second child of Lily and William Mason.   Until the year after I was born, it was just my parents, my older brother, and myself in the house.  Then little miss Rachel Faith came into the picture.  She took to the vegetarian diet our parents had taught us to eat well, never questioning why.  When I was fourteen, our mother died of cancer.  It was completely tragic, and left our father in a severe state of depression.  Two years later, he committed suicide by shooting himself in the head.   

Lucky me, the week after getting a new car for my birthday, I walked in and found the body.  The image of him is permanently scarred into my head.  The blood.... His body... Rachel came home just as the cornier took Dad out in a body bag.  That night, I remember vividly, we spent sobbing on Selene's bed.  

Our older brother, Peter, let us move in with him.  I used music as my way of grieving, learning to play guitar. I moved to Michigan when I was eighteen and met the people who eventually became the band.  I've always kept to myself and they're okay with that.... They don't question anything I say or how I act.  I was happy to finally be on tour- but after finding out Sel, Chels and Ray are here, I was, well, estatic.  I'm ready."
