name: Cel
age: Seventeen
roleplaying experience: Five years
roleplaying sample:It had been a long morning, for Astella, at least. For some odd reason, she had been unable to sleep for nearly three days; it felt like three years. She had turned on her laptop around three that morning and began to read up on insomnia. Her research turned out to be somewhat fruitful; she had found out something called transient insomnia, which could last from days to weeks, and is usually caused by depression or stress. Since she knew she definitely wasn't depressed, the only explanation must be stress from the tour. She sighed. "I hope this goes away soon," she groaned softly to herself. She had made sure not to wake anyone of the band up, because she knew how they could get when awoken. And Telly really didn't feel like getting yelled at.
The only person who wouldn't yell at her, or so she hoped, was Jay. He was her best friend, and they had very rarely ever gotten into an argument of any sort. And when they did, it was usually over something so stupid that they would forget about it after a few seconds. It was about five o'clock when she slid off of her bed silently and walked over to the coffee pot. She felt the side of it; it was still warm from when she had made it about a half an hour earlier. Telly poured herself a cup and added the cream and sugar needed to make it just right. She glanced over at the door to Jay's room subconsciously, then wondered when he and the others would wake up and how she would pass the time until then. She walked over and shut down her computer, sliding it back into its resting spot.
Still clad in the tank top and shorts she wore to bed, she slipped on her black and pink slippers, opened up the door to the bus and stepped down onto the top step. She then sat down on one of the lower steps and sipped her coffee eagerly. Although she would never admit it to anyone, she had liked Jay as more than a friend since the moment they met. He was kind and generous and just a fun person to be around. Telly looked over at the horizon as the sun began to rise, slowly. Taking anther sip of her coffee, her thoughts wandered back to her best friend. She knew he could never feel the same way for her as she did for him; that's just how some things were, she told herself. But even as she sat there on the steps, she couldn't help but to think, what if? What if, in some parallel universe, he did like her and they were, perhaps, even together? She laughed aloud softly and drank some more of the caffeine. Astella had always had that weird kind of thinking that everyone seemed to love.
The sun rose a little more and then a little more. A faint wind blew, but it gave her goosebumps anyway. She shivered, realized she was running low on coffee, and stepped back into the bus to pour herself some more. She had thought she heard a vague noise coming from the room in the back, but she decided it was just her ears playing tricks on her because she had been up for nearly seventy two hours. She place the half empty coffee pot back on the counter and walked back outside. This time, rather than just sitting down on the steps, she decided to walk around. The sun was still working its way to the top of the sky, and it looked beautiful. Telly sipped her coffee as she walked round a few buses and then begun to walk around hers. She figured she was going to go back to the bus and maybe jump on Jay's bed to wake him up so she wouldn't feel so alone.

how did you get here: Well, to start it off, I was in chorus and marching band in high school. Yeah I know, what a dork. But really, that's what made me first realize what I wanted to do with my life. I played piana in marching band, but honestly I didn't love it too much. It was singing in chorus that got me. I had gotten multiple solos and I loved the spotlight, to be honest. I guess that sounds narcissitic, but it's true. When I told my parents what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.. well, let's say it didn't end up well. My dad laughed in my face and my mom said that it would never happen. When I was sixteen I left my house to move in with my older sister in Rochester, who was 20 at the time. I was going to follow my dreams no matter who the hell told me I couldn't.
I changed schools and everything. It sucked, to say the least, but I got over it. I joined chorus there and everyone seemed shocked that such a small girl could have such a large and powerful voice. Even though I was the new girl, I was getting pretty well known around the school. That same year, my band, Baby Circus, was formed. And I'm not gunna lie, we've got some pretty talented girls in there. They're all so great and I love them all. And if it wasn't for my sister, the only one in my family who had any faith in me, I wouldn't be where I'm at today, following my dreams.
