She seemed as if she were going to give him a better reply, but instead settled on agreeing with him. A frown tugged at the corner of his mouth. She turned her attention back to her join and seemed to be tumbling an idea over in her head. Something else Gabriel liked about her was that her facial expressions and body language were very expressive. He imagined it was hard for her to hard her feelings. Or perhaps he was just very good at reading people.
"Looks like I'm going to stick around for a while then. I want to see what exactly your 'biting wit' has to offer."
He grinned and lay back on the slide, taking another sip of his beer- very carefully of course.
"Well you should feel lucky. Not many people get to see the tricks up my sleeves." he said, then added with a laugh. "It's a good thing you're cute."
She leapt up again and he sat up quickly so as not to lose her. Loveigh had a tendency of changing locations pretty quickly from what he'd seen. She made her way to the top of the slide, shouting down to him.
"If you don't move you'll get a nice set off knees in your back and I'll push you off."
Gabriel was about to reply with a bit of cheek about how he'd take his sweet ass time moving when he heard a thud on the slide. With no time to move, he felt her feet collide with his lower back and was knocked off the slide, toppling in a heap on the ground. Looking up at her and rubbing his back, he frowned and smirked at the same time.
"Thanks for the split second warning! You could've taken my pretty little head off and then I'd be no good for anything!"

Loveigh expected he'd move quickly - she moved around quickly a lot, so she assumed people were the same way. Apparently, they weren't. She laughed lightly all the way down the slide until she felt her feet come in contact with his back. She gasped as he went flying off of the edge of the slide, fumbling for the joint that had flown out of her mouth. She grabbed it and shoved it in her pocket, then looked down at Gabriel, covering her mouth to try to stifle another gasp and a laugh.
"Oh my God, I am so sorry!" she exclaimed, still trying to hold in a laugh. She scrambled off of the slide and helped him up. "Thanks for the split second warning! You could've taken my pretty little head off and then I'd be no good for anything!" She frowned. "I thought you'd move, I'm really sorry, are you okay?" She blinked at him for a few moments before she felt the laughter bubbling up inside of her. "That was fucking hysterical!" She fell onto the ground and sat there, still laughing.
After about a minute or two, she gathered herself, wiping the the tears from her eyes. She beamed up at him. "I really am sorry." She giggled and stood up, her stomach hurting from laughing. The thing about Loveigh was that she could get amused by anything. She remembered when she was in the eighth grade she and a friend would blow around a napkin at lunch just to keep themselves entertained. She also remembered the stares and comments that she and her friend had gotten because of that - but it was much more fun and amusing than it had seemed.
She also thought it was hilarious when someone got hurt. Not like hit by a car or something, but more like when they tripped. Hell, she even laughed when she got hurt. She guessed it was just a form of dark humor that she had developed living with the demons that are called her parents. A lot of people called her a bitch or something when she laughed at people who got hurt, but she didn't really care. If she thinks it's funny, then obviously she's going to laugh.
She stood next to him, rubbing the spot where her feet had become friends with his back. "I'm sorry for laughing, too," she said. "I couldn't hold it in." She smiled up at him and nearly stumbled backward - he was much more stunning up close than she had realized.

search for the answers i knew all alongi lost m y s e l f, we all fall down Sitting on the ground and brushing himself off, Gabriel couldn't help but crack up a little at the fact that Loveigh's rushed apology was mixed with a bit of mischievous laughter. It was like every time he saw something comically bad happen to another person- he felt bad, but it was still pretty freaking hilarious. He wasn't mad at her in the first place, and he certainly wasn't mad now. But he could pretend.
"Well jeez, Loveigh. I'm so glad you're concerned for my safety," he said with a fake pout. "I could've been hurt and you're just laughing your ass off."
Aw, poor Gabriel and his crocodile tears. He frowned and stood up, dusting himself off for the final time. This time he hadn't managed to keep a grip on his beer, which was now sitting sadly on its side nearby. He picked it up and tossed it in the trash, grieving for the half finished beverage, but quickly replaced it. There were three more left in his bag now.
"I'm sorry for laughing too, I couldn't hold it in," she said with that devilish little smile playing on her lips.
Gabriel gave up on his little game of pretend and genuinely grinned, sitting on the swings and kicking his feet idly. It was probably safer here anyway- who knows when Loveigh would feel like going on the slide again. Not that he was complaining- he found it cute.
"Yeah well, you're lucky I'm a bit of a punk. I like to laugh when stupid shit happens to people too," he replied, rolling his eyes.

Loveigh looked up at him, silent. she wondered if he was really mad at her. She didn't really think so, seeing as how someone would probably have yelled at her and then leave. But it was hard to tell with him; then again, she was never really good at reading people, anyway. She didn't apologize again or look guilty, and she certainly wasn't going to look away. She smiled a little, but just barely. If Gabriel was mad at her, she'd probably laugh again, and she didn't want to because then he might leave. She didn't want that, she enjoyed his company.
She watched as he picked up his spilled beer then threw it out. She suddenly felt a little bad about that, opening her mouth to apologize. She closed it quickly, though; some people got aggravated when she said sorry too much, but sometimes she couldn't help it. Loveigh followed him over to the swing. She didn't want to sit down, so instead she stood, not too close nor too far away. His next words made her grin, now knowing for sure that he wasn't angry. "Yeah well, you're lucky I'm a bit of a punk. I like to laugh when stupid shit happens to people too." She scrunched her nose, giggling very softly. "Okay, good," she said. "At least I know I'll get a laugh out of you if I ever bust my ass."
She rolled her eyes but smiled. She sighed lightly, staring at him for one moment longer. "You have very nice eyes," she pointed out with a tilt of her head. Undoubtedly, he was one of the more good looking people she had met here, and she wasn't complaining. He also seemed to be one of less sleaziest, but she couldn't correctly make that observation, as she didn't know him quite that well yet. She then sauntered off to the monkey bars, climbing onto the top of them and sitting there, smiling. She probably looked like a monkey herself.

search for the answers i knew all alongi lost m y s e l f, we all fall down For a few seconds, Gabriel was pretty sure he had her convinced that he was mad, which wasn't really what he was aiming for. However, a few seconds later that adorable smile crossed her face again and he breathed a little sigh of relief. No need to drive her away with his dramatic little games. She was definitely his favorite out of the girls he'd met on the tour so far. Hopefully she really would kick around for awhile.
"At least I know I'll get a laugh out of you if I ever bust my ass." she chuckled, and he nodded.
"Of course you would, and I wouldn't expect any less of you." he replied, laughing at the thought. "If I ever fall down drunk or something, I expect you to laugh your ass off at me."
