It was late. Well, sort of. It was almost ten, and she knew she should probably be heading back to the bus. But the thing was, she didn't want to. Not because of any of her band mates, but simply for the fact that she needed to clear her head. She hadn't even been on the tour for that long and she was already getting sucked into drama. Loveigh sighed, pulled on the hood of her black a7x hoodie, and kept her eyes on the ground as she walked. It was a little bit ridiculous. She had just joined the tour and she was hated, why? She wished she knew. But she was, and no one was going to stop that. Apparently she was just going to have to deal with the bullshit and get on with her life.
But how could she, if almost every band she encountered had something to say about hers? She arrived at the rather large park that was about half and hour away from the buses. The night sky wasn't dotted with stars that night due to the clouds, not like she'd be able to see them anyway because of the city lights. She made her way over to the swings and sat down on one of them, swinging back and forth slowly, the creaking of the swing giving her slight comfort. She titled her head on one of the chains holding the seat up. She gritted her teeth. If she was back in Rochester or Albany, Lord knows she wouldn't deal with this shit talking stuff. Where she came from, people knew that. But it was different here. She wasn't around kids, or too many others her age. Her parents had always told her to respect her elders, but her parents - well, screw them.
Loveigh kicked at the dirt beneath her feet with her sneakers. She hadn't said anything to piss anybody off, or at least not yet. She didn't know how much longer she could keep herself in check, to be honest. She was told that the girls here were vicious. She scrunched up her nose. She didn't know if that was true or if it was just something to scare her off. Either way, she didn't really care. She'll keep herself in line, but if it goes too far then she'll be vicious back.
She hoped it wouldn't get to that point, although that's the way it seemed to be leaning toward. She sighed and bit the inside of her lip, feeling the taste of coppery blood fill her mouth. She spit it out and reached in her pocket, pulling out a joint. With her other hand she pulled out a lighter. She really needed to just relax. If she thought the tour was getting bad already, she could only wonder what was to come. She loved being here, though, and she knew that no matter what, she'd continue to stay here. She didn't know what happened with the other singer of the band and she didn't care. It was her turn now.
Love lit up the joint and took a hit, closing her eyes. After a few moments she let it out slow. She loved weed. The first time her parents caught her smoking, they threw a fit. She didn't care. She was too high to care. And even after these few years, she still didn't care. She had smoked to get her mind away from them and the hell they put her through. Now, she smoked to get her mind away from pointless drama that more or less didn't seem to have anything to do with her.
Of course, this was expected, though. She was the new girl - no one likes the new girl. No matter if it's at school or on a tour. No one likes the new girl, ever. She knew she should have expected it, and she did, but not like this. She took another hit and let the smoke curl out of the corner of her mouth. Whatever, she thought. She wasn't going to worry about it now. She just wanted to enjoy where she was at the moment. Although it was lonely and she wished she actually had someone to share the night with. She took a long drag and swung back and forth slightly.

search for the answers i knew all alongi lost m y s e l f, we all fall down "Uh, bye Gabriel?" his bandmates called after him as the bus door shut.
Gabriel wanted to look around. He wasn't stressed, or bored, and he didn't need to have "alone time." Simply enough, he and his band were new to the tour and he wanted to check around the surrounding area. He had a habit of doing his own thing and wandering off. He often got up and left randomly without a single word or indication as to his destination.
In all honesty, Gabriel wasn't like Justyn. He was pretty easy to get along with once you got over his "i'm entitled to the world" attitude. The thing that made him uncomfortable was the fact that he and the rest of his band were the new kids on the block- aside from those weirdos Dear Earthlings. Nobody liked being new. Everyone on the tour already knew everyone else. Why should they want to make more drama? So Gabriel would wait for the others to come to him.
He'd already done a good job of scourging his new habitat. He had seen the shops, he had walked the streets. He had poked around the hospital grounds, beaten the venue to death and skipped rocks off the pier. His last uncharted location was the park. Gabriel didn't really expect to find company out this late, so he cracked one of the fourlokos that he had brought and meandered toward the jungle gym.
Almost immediately he saw a girl sitting alone and smoking a joint. With something halfway between a smirk and a smile, he set his energy-beer on the jungle gym and moved into her field of view. Grabbing the two gymnastic rings, he easily did a backflip and hung off them. Show off.
"What brings you out here so late?"

The feeling of the smoke filling her lungs was refreshing. Loveigh took a few more puffs and relaxed noticeably. Her eyes wandered up to the dark sky and she sighed. Fuck being the new girl in a band pretty much everyone else hated. Screw the people who didn't like her, though they barely knew her. She was not like the other girls in Baby Circus; she wasn't all about getting along and letting shit go. No. She had more of a backbone than that.
She hadn't really wanted to get into drama when she first arrived, but maybe now she wanted to. She wanted to prove to herself as well as others on the tour that she can handle this. That she can retaliate if she wanted to. She took a long drag and held it in until she felt the back of her throat burn. She let her eyes fall back to the ground. She wondered if her band mates wondered where she was. She pulled her cell from her pocket and, sure enough, she had three missed calls. She slipped the phone back into her pocket and left it on silent.
Loveigh had heard something somewhere in the park, but she summed it up to a stray animal. She lit the joint up again. She had smoked half of it already, and she was shocked. Good thing she always kept more weed on her. She could smoke herself straight if she wanted to, but what was the fun in that?
She saw something, or more like someone, step into her line of vision. She looked up, her eyes slightly hazy. She was nearly stunned by the man and his, well, good looks. She watched with mild interest as he did a flip on the gymnastic rings. "What brings you out here so late?" she heard him ask. She smiled and puffed on her joint. "I could ask you the same thing," she replied. She pulled her hood down and let the cool wind pass through it. She noticed the fourlouko he had set down. "Good stuff," she said with a grin. "I'm Loveigh. And the rather cute blond standing in front of me is...?"

search for the answers i knew all alongi lost m y s e l f, we all fall down Gabriel smirked as she surveyed him, and he was glad that he'd decided to search the area. He'd come across all sorts of lovely ladies in his travels, but the ones on the Semi Sweet Sugar Tour were the wildest, and certainly the most attractive. He grabbed his fourlokos off the jungle gym and sat where it had been, a little above her level and about five feet away.
"I'm Loveigh. And the rather cute blond standing in front of me is...?" she asked, grinning brightly.
"You can call me Gabriel, beautiful. I'm the new kid," he replied, cocking his eyebrows. "Already in enough trouble with everyone else for my third day though."
He said this with a bit of hesitation- she didn't look malicious. After Brodee had knocked him in thirteen different directions, he didn't want to take a chance until he was settled in. Most of the people on this tour generally used their appearance to reflect their personalities, and if this theory applied to her then he should be safe. She was cute, and looked sweet.
And he'd been keeping his head down since the fight, as Melrose had advised him. Somehow, somehow he'd managed to piss off what everyone called the "royal family", so it was best that he stay under the radar for awhile. Maybe Loveigh was safe, or better yet, one of the rare ones not so fond of the current reigning couples. Lucky and Venom were pretty scary too, but he had a particular vendetta against Brodee now.
Okay, so he'd asked for it. And everyone had told him that he'd asked for it. But it was a tour! He didn't really expect everything to be so serious. He didn't expect there to be a god damn heirarchy of who was in charge, who was important and who made the rules. That was just ridiculous. Did all tours work like this? Did every venue have it's king and queen and special subjects? Most that surrounded him seemed pretty crazy, so maybe he and his band just weren't used to the new scene.

Loveigh nodded and blew smoke from her mouth. "Gabriel. 'God is my strength'." She almost laughed at the mention of 'God' but didn't; she didn't know anything about this guy, and she didn't want to offend him. She examined him yet again. He was really attractive, but she knew that really attractive guys meant really big egos, and that was one thing she couldn't really stand. She shrugged to herself slightly. Whatever. She wasn't about to go and find all the really attractive guys on the tour and make them change themselves - that would take way too long, seeing as how it would be every single guy.
"Already in enough trouble with everyone else for my third day though." Love chuckled. "Yeah, me too. But the funny thing is, the people that apparently hate me hate my entire band just because of, well, I'm not even really that sure. We're the youngest and don't rely on our sex appeal to get to the top of the charts." She frowned and shook her head, sighing. "Whatever. Life's a bitch, then you die, so fuck this shit and let's get high." She laughed then looked down at what was left of her joint. "Oh, wait. I'm doing that right now." She grinned.
So yeah, she was definitely a little high, but who cares? She was the most fun when she was high or drunk. Loveigh watched as Gabriel walked over to the jungle gym and sat down. She gave a sweet smile. So far this kid really didn't seem too bad. Honestly, she was glad he was one of the members in a new band - he didn't have a reason to hate her... yet. People always found a reason to hate her. "So tell me," she said as she stood up and walked over to the jungle gym, sitting beside him. "Why are you hated on your third day of being here?"
She glanced down at the roach in her hand and thought about tossing it onto the ground. But this was a playground, and she had nearly cursed herself for even thinking that. The last thing she wanted was to be blamed for a little kid smoking at the age of five. She stuck it in her pocket and contemplating rolling another joint. She decided against it. She didn't want this kid to think that she was a pothead, even though that's exactly what she was. She turned her head to him and smiled.

search for the answers i knew all alongi lost m y s e l f, we all fall down "Gabriel. 'God is my strength.'" she said quickly, and Gabriel nodded with approval.
"Well, aren't you clever!" he chuckled, finishing his drink and tossing it at the trash can. It bounced off the rim and tumbled in. Pro.
Loveigh explained that she and her band were well hated , all because they were young and fairly innocent. He assumed she must be in Baby Circus, which clearly got no love from the "important bands" on the tour. He had managed to gather that one in his short amount of time here. Somehow Gabriel paid attention to what she was saying while taking in her appearance as well. Lovely girl, really.
Gabriel was honestly waiting for Luster Purge to show up on the shit list right next to Baby Circus. After his stint with Roxie and the fight, combined with Justyn's attitude and the entire band's obvious cockiness, it was just a matter of time. Might as well get on the good sides of as many people as possible before then.
"Why are you hated on your third day of being here?"
Gabriel smirked as she sat down next to him and asked him his crime. Oh what a brilliant story that was. He was surprised she hadn't heard about it already, but that was a good sign. It meant she didn't have her head in the drama scene like seemingly everyone else on the tour.
"I committed treason against the royal family," he scoffed with an eyeroll. "Earned myself a fat lip and a shit ton of enemies by gaming on the tour's queen. Her King didn't think too highly of it."
From her previous description, she didn't sound too fond of the brat pack either, so he wasn't worried about watching his mouth. Hey, maybe she could join their little rebellion if it ever became more than a silent verbal assault against the towers.

Loveigh grimaced at the mention of the 'royal family'. They acted like they owned the tour and everyone and everything in it. The last time she knew, this was America, and there definitely weren't any kings or queens. Besides, who were they to act like they ruled the place, for the lack of a better term. This was anybody's game, and just because they were attention whores and drug addicts didn't mean shit. Love was going to prove to them what a real band was like, one that actually made fans that weren't fucked up in the head.
She shook her head. "Fuck 'em," she spat, obviously not fond of them. "They think they can do and say whatever the hell they want, and I haven't even been here long and it's sickening." She looked and him and frowned. "And it's pathetic. To have to give themselves the title of the 'royal family' to make them feel like they're worth something..." She shook her head, then flushed immediately. She realized she had been talking a lot within only a few minutes, and he hadn't talked as nearly as much. "S-Sorry. I didn't mean to ramble. I think I'm just a little high." She gave Gabriel an apologetic smile.
Loveigh glanced at his face for a moment and realized the swollen lip for the first time. She reached out to touch it, but pulled away quickly. Whenever someone was hurt, it was just a knee jerk reaction for her to want to touch or examine it. "Crap," she muttered to herself, "if you can look that good with a fat lip I wonder what you look like without it." She realized what she said after she said but shook it off, not thinking he had heard it. And if he did, then oh well.
A chilly wind blew and she rubbed her hands together to keep them from going numb. She didn't know why, but she always dressed inappropriately for the cold months - she didn't like lone sleeved shirts too much and didn't own any actual jackets. She hated gloved unless it was snowing, and scarves just weren't her style. Right now, she was wearing dark blue skinny jeans with a black tank top and a hoodie. Yeah, perfect attire for winter. The funny thing was, though, that she rarely ever got sick. She crinkled her nose; now that she thought it, she would probably get sick, and that would not be good at all.
She looked around the playground and felt like a little kid all over again. She wished she could just go down the slides and cross the short bridge that led to one area to another. Well of course she could, but she wouldn't. Not right now, at least. "So your band is new, right? Or is it just you?" she asked after a moment. Her eyes wandered over to the nearby street as a few cars whizzed by. What a lovely spot for a playground - kids could get air pollution. But then again, it was New York, and there wasn't really a 'good place' for a playground anywhere.

search for the answers i knew all alongi lost m y s e l f, we all fall down When Loveigh went off on a tangent about how she was certainly no fan of the kingdom, Gabriel had to resist the urge to legitimately sigh out loud. At first upon arrival he had thought that everyone simply bowed down and didn't question the authority, but now that he was hearing the mutterings and discontent he knew that was far from true. It was just that nobody dared to do anything because... well, the result might be a little bloody. He pulled out another fourlokos from his backpack and cracked it open as she finished.
""S-Sorry. I didn't mean to ramble. I think I'm just a little high." she said with a nervous stutter. Gabriel nearly spit out his drink.
"Aw hell no, don't apologize!" he exclaimed, shaking his head. "I totally agree with you. I mean, i don't really hate Lucky or Venom, they're just assholes. Brodee and Sonny are a whole different story and, well-."
He stopped here to laugh, trying to think of what category he put Roxie in at this point. It wasn't really her fault that he'd gotten knocked in the face, and she wasn't being a bitch either. Just protecting her own ass really.
"I don't really have a category for Roxanna yet, but we'll see."
Gabriel didn't want to talk about Roxie as much, especially not with a beautiful girl sitting next to him that was clearly much more available and easily less dangerous. So he shrugged- back to the main topic of the conversation.
"If you can look that good with a fat lip I wonder what you look like without it," she said, reaching out to touch it. He smirked under her fingertips before she drew them away and laughed.
"It's not nearly as bad as it was last night, but don't you worry," he stopped to run a hand through his hair playfully. "I'm devilishly handsome."
Alright, so Gabriel was pretty cocky too, but it wasn't in the "rub it in your face" way that made him hate Brodee so much. He was just... overly confident. You could call it that. Anyway, he was distracted from comparing his personality to his mortal enemy's when she asked him if his band was new. He nodded.
"Yup, it's us and that weird bunch, Dear Earthlings. Kind of a completely random pair to add to this completely random tour, but I've now learned to expect anything," he said with a smirk, sipping his beer. "What about you? What's your story?"

Loveigh sighed, glancing down and picking at her nail polish. "I don't hate any of them, really. I suppose it's more of a strong dislike - but mainly because they don't like me when they don't even know me. I think that's what pisses me off the most." She shrugged. She wasn't going to let it get to her too much; but at least she knew there was at least one other person on the tour who didn't like them as much either. Perhaps there were even more people than she though, but they just didn't want to say anything. She sighed softly.
"It's not nearly as bad as it was last night, but don't you worry.. I'm devilishly handsome." Loveigh couldn't help but laugh. "Yeah? Devilishly handsome, huh? I think that's something I'll have to see for myself." She winked at him playfully and laughed again. This guy definitely wasn't all that bad. Maybe a little bit cocky, but who could blame him? He probably had a hidden agenda, like most guys did, but she wasn't one to judge. If anything, she probably had one right now, too.
But no one would ever know. She always looked so innocent - and for the most part, she was. She was almost always nice to people; she did what she was asked of; and when she sang, well, it was like she was a whole new person who could do no wrong to anyone even if she tried. Loveigh liked it. She was indeed a nice girl, but like anybody push the wrong buttons and you'll set her off. It was like a secret weapon in a way.
She nodded as he spoke. "Oh yeah, Dear Earthlings has that guy Texas in it, right?" She laughed lightly. "He is so damn weird, but enticing." She smiled and looked at Gabriel. "My story.. Well, the band I'm in isn't new, but I am. I'm the new singer for Baby Circus." She smiled again. "You probably guessed what band I'm in already. Word travels fast amongst these bands. Rumors and shit are like diseases here. Well, that's true for anywhere, that can be true for anywhere, I guess."
She chuckled and stood up. She decided she was going to go down the slide, even if it made her seem like a child. Love walked over to the spiral slide, sitting down at the top. She grinned and pushed herself forward. She neared the bottom of the slide and pushed herself faster, flying off the end and landing in the dirt. She blinked for a moment before laughing. That was more fun than she had anticipated.

search for the answers i knew all alongi lost m y s e l f, we all fall down Gabriel listened intently as Loveigh explained her plight. It wasn't quite the same situation as he was in. She hadn't done anything and they had judged her either way. He had earned his enemies, but it didn't bother him as much as it had before when he had thought that he was the only one who wasn't fond of the "popular kids." A frown tugged at the corner of his mouth.
"That kinda blows. I think you're a delightful person." he said with a grin.
"Devilishly handsome, huh? I think that's something I'll have to see for myself." she said with a wink, and he laughed.
"I guess that means you'll have to stick around and find out," he replied, playfully messing her hair.
Then finally Gabriel got to her her story. He'd guessed her band right, but her occupation was an interesting similarity. They were both vocalists. He was about to point this out when she suddenly jumped up and headed for the slide, going down it and grinning madly. Cute.
"You know, you wouldn't be able to get away with that childishness if you weren't cute," he laughed, rolling his eyes. He mimicked her and went down the slide on his back. Somehow he managed to not spill his beer and sipped it while righting himself at the bottom of the slide.

Loveigh stood up and brushed the dirt off of her jeans, still smiling. She felt like she needed that. It was nice to flash back to her childhood days for a moment or two. She pushed the hair from her eyes, not really caring that he messed it up. It was probably messy anyway. "You know, you wouldn't be able to get away with that childishness if you weren't cute." She laughed. "No, I think I still would. I'm one of the youngest on tour, I can still most definitely get away with it." She grinned and shrugged. "Besides, I hate being uptight about things. Acting like a kid sometimes lets that out."
Her mind flashed to Lucifer, her band's manager. He was always so uptight and uninteresting. Of course, she had come to find out he was rather good in bed, but she was sure the other girls in Baby Circus had found that out, too. Thinking about that hurt her for a slight moment. She knew better than to get feelings for anyone on tour, and although he was nothing but their manager and an occasional screw, she couldn't help the inkling of emotion for him. However, after their last encounter, she was sure the inkling would vanish.
Love smiled at Gabriel as he went down the slide. "See, I wish people on the tour were more like me. Fuck drama, fuck love, fuck everything, and just have fun, you know?" She shook her head lightly and walked over to the bottom of the slide where he was. She sat down by his feet and looked up at him. "So, Gabriel," she said, "who've you gotten the hots for on he tour so far? Other than Roxie." She rolled her eyes but smiled.
She leaned her head against the edge of the slide and looked up at the trees. She could honestly say she loved the night time for multiple reasons: one, because it was peaceful to not be around so many people all the time; two, it was rather relaxing as well as refreshing to sit in the chilly night air; and three, well apparently you get to meet attractive people. She smiled to herself.

search for the answers i knew all alongi lost m y s e l f, we all fall down Gabriel still lay with his back on the slide, looking up at Loveigh with a grin as she brushed herself off.
"No, I think I still would. I'm one of the youngest on tour, I can still most definitely get away with it. Besides, I hate being uptight about things. Acting like a kid sometimes lets that out."
"Hate to break it to you, kid, but it seems like everyone on this tour is uptight. Which is why I need to de-stress a bit more too." he laughed, hiding the frustration in his voice well. He wasn't frustrated with her. In fact, quite the opposite. Luster purge was a playful, if slightly self absorbed bunch. But coming onto the tour was like stepping into a freezer. There was so much animosity- maybe he was just naive and it was like this everywhere.
"See, I wish people on the tour were more like me. Fuck drama, fuck love, fuck everything, and just have fun, you know?"
Her feelings seemed to exactly match what he had just been thinking, so he took a sip of his beer to offset his surprise. Smiling genuinely, not his usual mischievous smirk, Gabriel sat up and dusted his jeans off.
"Odd, I was just thinking the exact same thing," he said, nodding with approval. "But it's just how we're supposed to be, really. Some of us submit, some of us dominate, and some of us actually enjoy life."
Gabriel figured she'd appreciate the metaphor, or whatever it was. Because it was true. It was exactly how the tour (and life in general really) worked. Everyone had their place, and their was no way to change it. He was perfectly content being an attractive layback with also attractive company as he chilled in his balcony seats and watched the drama.
"So, Gabriel, who've you gotten the hots for on he tour so far? Other than Roxie." she said with a grin, and his trademark smirk returned.
"Come now, you don't think I'm that foolish do you?" he chuckled. "Other than her, I've kept my distance. Most of the harlots on this tour are holding scarlet letters A through Z, so I'm staying in the VIP section."
Gabriel said this with a smug expression, but it was absolutely true. Most of the decent girls (Loveigh hopefully being an exception) were fucking everything within thrusting distance and the others were taken, so for now he's lay low and wait for something interesting to come to him. Maybe it had.
"What about you, doll?"

Loveigh pulled her hood back on as a chilly wind blew. She shivered. She could not wait until summer, with the hot air and cold ocean water. She hated the cold with a passion. She glanced up at him as he spoke. "Hate to break it to you, kid, but it seems like everyone on this tour is uptight. Which is why I need to de-stress a bit more too." She nodded. "Yeah," she muttered, taking another joint out of her pocket and lighting it. "I can think of many ways to relieve stress." She puffed on the joint and let the smoke drift through her lips.
She watched as he dusted his jeans off, squinting her eyes slightly. "Some of us submit, some of us dominate, and some of us actually enjoy life." She pondered that for a moment before shrugging her approval. "I guess that's pretty true for everything. People don't stop and smell the roses. And if they do, they don't stay long enough to enjoy the scent." She shrugged again. She didn't know why she was being insightful tonight; perhaps it was the weed that made her like that. She didn't know, but it made her feel smart.
Not that Love was dumb. She was smarter than most people thought, and when she actually got a chance to use her wit they were stunned. She liked playing the role of the not so brightest crayon in the bunch sometimes. It made things interesting. She took a hit. She wondered how many guys had fallen for her dumb broad act, but she didn't really care. The point was that it worked... most of the time.
She listened as Gabriel answered the question she had asked. She raised an eyebrow skeptically. She wasn't sure if he was lying or telling the truth; he could be saying things just to make her think fondly of him, but she didn't think he was like that. She didn't make correct assumptions all the time, but most of the time she was correct. She smiled. "VIP section?" She rolled her eyes but chuckled. "Okay then."
Loveigh crinkled her nose when he asked about the people she had 'hots' for. Her mind once again flashed to Lucifer, but she knew they meant nothing to each other, so she just shrugged. "I wouldn't touch most of the guys, or girls, here with a ten foot fucking pole. Don't get me wrong, there are some hot people here, but I just think most of them have every disease known to man." She laughed and puffed her joint. "Well, there was this one guy, but that was - is - nothing. I would say you, but all you've got going for you so far in my book is good looks." She grinned at him. She had an innocent way of flirting with people, unlike many others on the tour. It usually reeled guys in like fish. She wondered if Gabriel would fall for it, too.

search for the answers i knew all alongi lost m y s e l f, we all fall down Gabriel saw her shiver and nearly mimicked the motion himself unconsciously. He was no fan of cold either, especially not Maine. What a random place for the tour to go after having just been in New York. Of course, Maine had been where his band had been picked up, so he couldn't complain too much, but the sooner they were out of this frigid, desolate state, the better. He didn't mind the few big cities, but right now they were in a small college town with a marginal amount of action. A bit depressing. So when Loveigh said that she could think of a few good ways to destress and lit up a joint, he shrugged.
"I don't know if I'd agree with that around here. There's nothing to do,"
When he said this, it was with a bit of a pout, like a child that had been made to stay indoors on a rainy day. Gabriel liked action, and places where things were happening. He had, after all, grown up in New Jersey. There was never a dull moment in that dense state.
"I guess that's pretty true for everything. People don't stop and smell the roses. And if they do, they don't stay long enough to enjoy the scent." she said, adding a bit of color to their conversation. He grinned at the metaphor and nodded.
"I think that's because everyone has finally realized that roses are more of a symbol than something to smell," Gabriel replied with a smug little smirk. He figured she'd get a kick out of a more interesting reply."You don't give roses to a girl to her because they smell nice. You give them because they represent romance."
Loveigh's reply to his opinion of the potential mates on the tour made him chuckle. It was a fact, Gabriel was notoriously picky, but the Semi Sweet Sugar Tour was notoriously attractive, the whole lot of them. However, with the notoriety came a slew of unsavory characteristics- the most notable being raging promiscuity. Gabriel didn't have a problem sleeping with different girls, he just wasn't into EVERY girl that came along on a nice set of legs.

"That's probably because people realize that roses are more of a symbol than something the actually smells nice," he replied cheekily, figuring she'd get a kick out of the twist. Might as well keep her on her toes, right? "You don't give flowers to a girl so she can smell them. Roses don't smell all that good anyway. You give them to her because they're a symbol of romance."Loveigh replied to his assessment of the tour's potential mates with a bit of skepticism, but he had expected that. Gabriel was notoriously picky, but the girls of the Semi Sweet Sugar Tour were notoriously attractive. However, with that notoriety came a slew of bad traits, such as sleazy promiscuity. Gabriel certainly liked hooking up with different girls every now and again, but not EVERY girl that walked by on a nice set of legs. "I wouldn't touch most of the guys, or girls, here with a ten foot fucking pole," Loveigh commented, almost reading his thoughts again. "Don't get me wrong, there are some hot people here, but I just think most of them have every disease known to man."Gabriel was about to open his mouth and agree with her when she continued a bit tentatively, talking about a prospect that had never really come to fruition. He wasn't sure how much truth there was in that statement, but he was distracted by a blow to his ego. "I would say you, but all you've got going for you so far in my book is good looks." He took on an expression of interested surprise, kind of like when someone dumps water on you during a hot summer day. It was pleasant, having someone to keep him on his toes. Because he did have much more to offer than a pretty face- Gabriel was also notoriously cunning. "It's a good thing you're cute," he chuckled with a devilish smirk and cocked eyebrows. "Stick around long enough and you might cut yourself on my biting wit."The way he said it was half joking and half serious. It was a tone of voice Gabriel often used to keep people guessing. After all, when people were guessing, they kept coming back. Loveigh looked at Gabriel with an interesting expression as he described roses as being symbols. To some extent, she agreed - but roses withered, like any other flower, and was usually associated with a dying love. She opened her mouth to say just that, but instead took a hit from her joint and nodded lightly. "Okay, yeah," she said, "you've got a point there." She thought for a few moments longer about the subject, then brushed it off as she did many things. She then wondered how they got into such an insightful sort of topic, and almost laughed. It was humorous, thinking about what starts conversation and what it leads to.
She looked down to her left and touched the grass lightly. It was spring, and the grass had only just begun to grow back, but there was a lot of it. She grabbed a fistful and pulled. She remembered times when she did this in her backyard in her hometown of Albany, with her parents in the house yelling about something as always. Bitterly, she threw the grass, not far, as if it were tainted by the memory of the people who created her. She didn't know why she still thought of her parents. They were both dead to her.
Love shook them out of her mind and took a puff. Why was weed so good? It always made her feel better, even when she didn't need to feel better. She smiled. She wish she knew the person who discovered weed so she could give them a handshake. Marijuana was one of the best things on God's green earth. She looked at him again. "It's a good thing you're cute. Stick around long enough and you might cut yourself on my biting wit." She laughed and raised an eyebrow challengingly. "Is that so, dear Gabriel?" She smirked. "Looks like I'm going to stick around for a while then. I want to see what exactly your 'biting wit' has to offer." She laughed again.
She stood, the joint dangling from her lips. She went back onto the playground set and to the top of the slide. She looked down at him. "If you don't move," she called, "you'll get a nice set off knees in your back and I'll push you off." She grinned and sat down, giving him a few seconds to move. She then pushed herself along, smoking on her way down.
