name: Cel
age: Seventeen
roleplaying experience: 5 years
roleplaying sample:It was late. Well, sort of. It was almost ten, and she knew she should probably be heading back to the bus. But the thing was, she didn't want to. Not because of any of her band mates, but simply for the fact that she needed to clear her head. She hadn't even been on the tour for that long and she was already getting sucked into drama. Loveigh sighed, pulled on the hood of her black a7x hoodie, and kept her eyes on the ground as she walked. It was a little bit ridiculous. She had just joined the tour and she was hated, why? She wished she knew. But she was, and no one was going to stop that. Apparently she was just going to have to deal with the bullshit and get on with her life.
But how could she, if almost every band she encountered had something to say about hers? She arrived at the rather large park that was about half and hour away from the buses. The night sky wasn't dotted with stars that night due to the clouds, not like she'd be able to see them anyway because of the city lights. She made her way over to the swings and sat down on one of them, swinging back and forth slowly, the creaking of the swing giving her slight comfort. She titled her head on one of the chains holding the seat up. She gritted her teeth. If she was back in Rochester or Albany, Lord knows she wouldn't deal with this shit talking stuff. Where she came from, people knew that. But it was different here. She wasn't around kids, or too many others her age. Her parents had always told her to respect her elders, but her parents - well, screw them.
Loveigh kicked at the dirt beneath her feet with her sneakers. She hadn't said anything to piss anybody off, or at least not yet. She didn't know how much longer she could keep herself in check, to be honest. She was told that the girls here were vicious. She scrunched up her nose. She didn't know if that was true or if it was just something to scare her off. Either way, she didn't really care. She'll keep herself in line, but if it goes too far then she'll be vicious back.
She hoped it wouldn't get to that point, although that's the way it seemed to be leaning toward. She sighed and bit the inside of her lip, feeling the taste of coppery blood fill her mouth. She spit it out and reached in her pocket, pulling out a joint. With her other hand she pulled out a lighter. She really needed to just relax. If she thought the tour was getting bad already, she could only wonder what was to come. She loved being here, though, and she knew that no matter what, she'd continue to stay here. She didn't know what happened with the other singer of the band and she didn't care. It was her turn now.
Love lit up the joint and took a hit, closing her eyes. After a few moments she let it out slow. She loved weed. The first time her parents caught her smoking, they threw a fit. She didn't care. She was too high to care. And even after these few years, she still didn't care. She had smoked to get her mind away from them and the hell they put her through. Now, she smoked to get her mind away from pointless drama that more or less didn't seem to have anything to do with her.
Of course, this was expected, though. She was the new girl - no one likes the new girl. No matter if it's at school or on a tour. No one likes the new girl, ever. She knew she should have expected it, and she did, but not like this. She took another hit and let the smoke curl out of the corner of her mouth. Whatever, she thought. She wasn't going to worry about it now. She just wanted to enjoy where she was at the moment. Although it was lonely and she wished she actually had someone to share the night with. She took a long drag and swung back and forth slightly.

how did you get here: I got here by being a good photographer, I guess, haha. Okay okay, I'll tell you my story, though it's not worth listening to. My mom and dad couldn't really afford to have me, but they did- on accident, I think, I don't know. Why would someone have a baby if they couldn't afford to pay for it? Anyway, when I was two years old they left me on the neighbor's porch. They kept me for a while, then they decided that they didn't want me, either. So I was put into foster care when I was four.
I was moved around from home to home, even from city to city. It seemed like no one wanted me, or could handle my craziness. Despite that, I always did well in school, even though I was a little antisocial. I've grown of that, though, a while ago. I finally ended up with a decent family when I was eleven years old, which is tough, because no one really wants the preteens or the teenagers. The family that adopted me was a gay couple, who had adopted two other kids prior to me. We moved to Connecticut shortly thereafter. They loved us all equally and for that I can't thank them enough, even to this day.
Let me backtrack a little bit. When I was being moved around to all these different homes, I was always stunned by scenery. The leaves falling in spring, the way the snow looked on the ground.. so I got a disposable camera and began to take pictures. I never showed them to anyone. As I grew up I took more and more pictures. When I was adopted, I finally showed the guys that adopted me what I held in my tons of scrapbooks. They seemed pretty amazed, and for my sixteenth birthday they got me a professional camera.
I loved that thing. Hell, I still have it. I would take pictures of everything, all the time, no matter where I was or what it was of. I had dreamed of being a photographer, and my foster parents always encouraged me to follow that dream. Photos that I took during high school were published not only in the schools' newspaper, but in the towns' newspaper as well. Barely a week after I graduated high school, someone came up to me, asking if I wanted to be the photographer for a band. Obviously, I jumped on that opportunity. And now here I am!
